There was no stamp, stamp pad or letterbox-type log in this one. Still, it was a great stop in the grasslands for us. We signed the log, admired the nearby vegetation, and saw antelope and prairie dogs. What could be better than that?! TFTC!

Working the area power trails to knock out the Mystical Creatures quest. Just one more souvenir to get! This is a cut and pace log that if anything other then a quick find shall be noted. Thank you for the letterbox and the maintenance of these caches.

Great day out in the grasslands on the border of Wyoming and Colorado.
Thanks to all CO's for hiding these trails and caches.
Most were found, but some were skipped because of traffic.
Most in good shape, some wet or damaged.
All in all a great day.
This was one of 140 finds.
No stamp in this cache!

Nearing cache #5,000 just before the GW-XVI Giga-Event, I'm determined to get my cache numbers closer to that goal, so EstesLynne & I headed out to the Pawnee Grasslands for this power trail of caches, which has also been on my list for several years. We picked the perfect spring day to be out on the plains - just gorgeous, with lots of meadow larks singing, painted buntings flitting about, and a few hawks soaring as well. Most of the caches were fairly easy, but several were falling apart, cracked or crumbling. we replaced as many of those as we could, just to keep the power trail going. Thanks to all those who put his trail of caches together & maintain them" should be out here. TFTC!
