This is a challenge cache that you must qualify for in order to claim a find. You may log the cache with a note at any time.
Well lets face it, nobody does waymarks. I have recently gotten into them only because BadgeGen has a badge for them. You will need to demonstrate that you have found 350 or more waymarks to qualify for this cache.

Waymarks are similar to virtual caches or challenges. Most of them are interesting areas and only require proof of being there. Pictures or sharing your experience is usually enough. If you have been cacheing for a while or even been out in the world lately you have probably been at several waymarks and not realized it.

Found it at 1258.
I'd seen these "Diamonds in the Rough" challenges on my map for years, and upon checking them out again I was excited to find that I qualified for this one! But first, the cache itself....
It took me a couple of minutes to spot the cache container. There's a slight crack in the lid, and there was some moisture (condensation I think, since it was a warm day) in the bottom, but the log was doing fine even though it's not in a baggie. I TNLNSL.

I started doing waymarks almost 4 years ago. In an OCD fashion, I'm just finding one per category, then checking off (actually hiding) the categories. I've found 448 waymarks/categories so far (in addition to creating 18 of my own, all near me in Cheyenne, WY). I'm attaching part of a screenshot of my waymarking statistics as proof.

TFTC!

Nearing cache #5,000 just before the GW-XVI Giga-Event, I'm determined to get my cache numbers closer to that goal, so EstesLynne & I headed out to the Pawnee Grasslands for this power trail of caches, which has also been on my list for several years. We picked the perfect spring day to be out on the plains - just gorgeous, with lots of meadow larks singing, painted buntings flitting about, and a few hawks soaring as well. Most of the caches were fairly easy,
I have a ways to go for this Challenge, but since we were in the neighborhood, we thought we'd sign the log anyway. TFTC!

I have not done any waymarking, but I might someday. Part of the year I live in a condo in downtown Chicago and I bet there are 350 waymarks within walking distance. In fact, my condo building is one. So, I signed the log just because I was here and might earn this some day!

I can finally claim this one, after a trip to Yuma. I was here on 7/1/16 when Mr. & Mrs. Magic and Marlin01 wanted to do the star. I had already done it so I drove around and picked up a few challenge caches. I have been helping a friend get to 100 waymarks, and I remembered this one, and now I qualify. Thanks.

Thanks, kaiwarrior! If you look at my profile, you will see that I have logged more than 1,300 Waymarks. Challenge caches always get a favorite point from me. I came out this way early Monday morning to beat the forecast for snow and cold weather later in the week. I really enjoyed the caches on this road, but I only had the morning bec.ause I needed to pick the grandchildren up from school in the afternoon. We lived in Laredo, Texas for the past 19 years, and we moved to Arvada in March of this year after retirement. Today I came up this way from I-76, and next time I hope to do the rest of the caches in this area to the north.
