So excited for some overdue fresh air, outdoor play. One of my favorite Geo-Pals THeSKuLL and I were trying to coordinate a Friday afternoon hike for awhile. We finally scheduled it in, and Red Rocks was a good close by choice. Hiking and caching is a great way to spend a lunchtime break. Who needs work or food when you can decompress with a cold one up high on a rock in Colorful Colorado. Definitely need to make afternoons like this a more regular thing to squeeze into my hectic calendar. Great rock to sit back and relax at. TFTF!

Well. This isn't where I thought at all. I figured this was a good climb after reading the description. Still a great spot to stop for a beverage break.

TFTC!! BigSmile

Beautiful day for caching in Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Found a route to the cache without too much bushwhacking. Quick find using the hint. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the cache.

After 16 years of geocaching I finally decided to complete the fizzy challenge. I needed three combinations and decided to get them all today. The trip took me from Aurora, to Colorado Springs, to Manitou Springs, to Chatfield reservoir, and back home. This was one of the combinations I needed. When I first saw this cache I thought it is right on the trail, this should be easy. It should be noted that the Intemann trail noted on all the maps has been rerouted further uphill. This cache is no longer on the trail. The trail to it has been blocked. Using the satellite view will help you get there. I'm not sure this rises to a T5 but I'll take it. Thank you for creating this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.
