Nice hike - relatively easy terrain in comparison to the rest of the park.
Located in Rocky Mountain National Park. A nice hike that is accessable from two different trailheads on the west side of the park. Should be accessable year-round (i.e. the access roads to the trailhead are not beyond the Oct - May road closures).

In order to claim this cache email the cache owner with what historical artifact you find at this location.

As a bonus, include who the artifacts originally belonged too (need to do some research with the ranger or books sold at the park).

I'm in town with family from Arizona, enjoying the beautiful, fresh, green terrain. We made it out to the meadow today and looked around for the artificat. We came across what we thought was the solution requested. Thanks for the additional fun on a beautiful day for a hike!

Nice trail to the largest montane meadow in the Park, and not too busy considering it's a holiday today, but lots of mosquitoes so come prepared. There was a mama moose and her calf farther up the trail past the "artifacts."

Nice hike with the girls. They're not used to the elevation, we're flat Landers. Enjoyed the views and saw some moose on the other side of the meadow. Tftv!

We got there when hiking from Green Mountain Trailhead to Granite Falls, which is a really nice trail! If you're lucky you can watch moose in the early evenings!

I came back to the park today mostly for this cache. It was a nice hike but no luck spotting moose today. I came up from the Green Mountain trailhead. There were crews working on the trail but it is still open. Email sent. TFTC

Unfortunately we didn't see any moose on this little trek, but it was still a fantastic outing. After visiting this site, we continued on to see Granite Falls. Despite a sandal strap blowout, we reached that goal. What a beautiful day and awesome park! Answer sent by gc.com message.
