Spruce hide

After parking we've been walking along to find the rest that were hidden along the greenway. We finally arrived at da Spruce hide and saw that there were a couple of DNF's and almost decided not to look, but hey, a couple of DNF's is no big deal, so look we did. It was a nice spot to get out of the hot sun and enjoy the cool air coming out of the tunnel and why not go in the tunnel, that's where they're always hidden, right. Or wrong, TFTC.

Poked around the area for a while but couldn’t find it. There were a bunch of flies and trash so I didn’t want stick my hands too far into stuff. Kind of a gross area. Maybe another time.

It was such a nice day I just couldn't stay inside. So here I am on a lunchtime caching run! My phone got me to the general area, but wouldn't quite settle down. So I started looking, and looked for longer than I care to admit. I read some logs and while there wasn't a direct hint as to where the cache was, something made me realize I wasn't in the right spot. Expanded my search zone to a more likely area and made the grab not too long after that. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2907.

This cache took two tries. Was with #1 Beefers the first time when it was cold and windy. We looked in the usual places and just could not spot it. Then, I had the good fortune to get help from the CO for another cache and the whining about this one encouraged the CO to provide some clues. My vehicle GPS took me right back here for my homeward journey so I stopped here for another try. Armed with helpful clues, I finally made the find. Sorry #1 Beefers had already scooted on home for the day. Thanks for your help and placement, Rohatx!
