Our family rented UTVs for the day and made it up to this site. We had 7 people looking for it and NOTHING! wanted to make sure we posted as it hasn’t been found in a while.

We found this cache as part of some vacationing in Colorado. We often target a few caches when we travel, usually trying our luck on a few higher difficulty/terrain caches, puzzle caches, ones that add new counties, and others that well…just seem interesting. This one was grabbed while we were doing some 4x4 riding in the area. We always enjoy caches that take us to something other than the cache, and this one is a great example of that. Interesting location aside, the hide here is also very good. Thanks for the hide, gets a favorite point from us.

Spent the day jeep-caching with Waawhoo, EstesLynne & the Memfis Mafia. First time on a serious jeep-trail, and we had some moment that took my breath away! Still, with a couple of amazing jeeps and skilled drivers (this is NOT Prius-territory!), we made it up to the end of the road. This cache was one of our targets for the day, and it was a nice little hike to the cache, which we found with a little hunting around. Enjoyed the views from the top, too. TFTC!

Thanks for the fun day of caching.

We went out today in a couple of Jeeps and had fun picking up some caches away from the crowds. We have tons of photos and videos we will slowly upload. There were six in our group in all and I'm pretty sure I can safely say we all had a great day playing in the hills of Colorado. We took a bunch of photos and even some video.

What a trip up here! I joined the waawhoo gang for an adventure day of 4WD caching, with this cache as a major goal. I'd never been seriously 4WD-ing before, and it might not be the best thing for my aging spine, but in the end it was a blast. I had no idea this crash site was here, and it sure made for an interesting little hike around the area. As for the cache itself, we found it handily, and admired the incredible view. TFTC!

I needed an excuse to get back up here and find this cache. So when Path Pacer was talking about coming up here, I jumped at the opportunity to drive back up here. Thanks for this great hide!

I've been wanting this one for a long time, but Waahoo agreed to take me up there in his amazing Jeep so I could finally log it. Before today, I'd have said no one could drive up this road. Getting to this cache was quite an education!

Lots of plane bits about: the tail, wings, engine, engine exhaust, generator, big block of aluminum something, and the cockpit. It's a sobering sight.

Finding the cache was a little tricky, but we found it after a fairly short search.

out doing some 4wheeling with group of friends, This is my 3rd visit to this site with the first being shortly after it happened when I was still a small kid back in early to mid 60's. The other visit was with same buddy just a few years ago but we were not geocachers at the time. New people in the group, wanted to visit site. Had a bit a trouble due to GPS bounce and initially found what thought was the perfect hide, opened it up and there was a wrapper from a water bottle under the rock with a signature but knew instantly that someone had "dropped" a cache. Went on to find the REAL cache and then wrote on the wrapper that this was NOT the cache and left it were it was. Could not track the trail name to a recent log so . . .. . honor system - between you and GOD. TFTC SL visited bugs.

This was a fun one to earn today. I liked the cache placement especially, and I took a few pictures from the top of the rock. Thanks for placing this and for taking such good care of it.
I left a sparkly marble and took the HQ trackable.

Nice cache! Out 4X4ing with my son testing out my newer stock Tacoma TRD. Stopped at the last big rock climb and hiked the last 3/4 of a mile to the site. SL, TN, L - Geo-penny, Marker TB, and Seatle HQ TB (this TB has not activated by its owner).
