Welcome to the Denver Orbital Trail or DOT for short. 177 miles of trails that circumnavigate Denver metro broken up into 28 segments. It was created from existing trails, parks and greenways. Most are dog friendly and bike friendly but always check current rules and regulations before you begin any hike. The segments vary in length from 2-12 miles long. Most segments are easy to moderate but there are a few strenuous sections as well. 

This segment runs from Highland Heritage Regional Park to Schweiger Ranch

?From the Big Dry Creek Trail to the unpaved trails of Bluffs Regional Park. A short, but steep, climb brings you to the top of the bluffs before descending towards Schweiger ranch.

Today it's pretty chilly! Hard to believe fall is approaching until I feel the bite in the wind. Happy to be out caching today.

When I parked, no rain, by the time I got to GZ it was blowing rain pretty hard. Went back to the car with the cache to get my TOTT & avoid getting much wetter. Then rain quit as quickly as it started but then one of DCs finest pulled in, luckily he was just making a pull through.

l’m in town visiting from California. We are back in Colorado after going to Minnesota for the Labor Day weekend. This cache was close by. After I dropped my daughter off at work I made my way over. Good cords led me to the cache. Yippee, [FTF]! Thanks for the new hide and nice container.
