On Green Mountain near the a suburban entrance. A good, quick first cache.
The easiest entrance is the W Virgina Drive entrance (which is a cul de sac that leads to the trail). Please be mindful of the neighbors when parking. This is an ammo box with a bunch of kids toys and log book. The usual Green Mountain warnings are in effect (rattlesnakes and thorny bushes) so carry a stick and long pants.

The terrain is steep for biking (though if you took a bike on the Dino Ridge cache this is a piece of cake) but my five year old handled the path with little difficulty.

Great views and super cool find. With all the rain it was water logged. Poured the water out, took a marble:left a shell.

Paper notebook log needs replaced.

Me and 3 geocache kids found it. Ammo box is a bit waterlogged, but cache items are mostly still ok. Drained the box and sealed it as best as possible.

After making a wrong turn (hangs head), it took longer to navigate the residential area than reaching the cache from the trailhead. What a beautiful view. Thanks to irid3sc3nt for the nice replacement. Left the TBs in place.

I found the sad Ziploc, but I came prepared! The cache is NOT AN AMMO. It is still a regular-sized cache! New log book and new swag. I dropped three TBs. I needed this for my Jasmer and figured I'd give it some TLC. Geocaching ftw!

Found on a nice hike on Green Mountain. There is no container. The log book is in a ziploc bag that's in bad shape. Needs some TLC. Maybe the next finder can bring a container. SL. Thanks for this old cache!

I started at the parking lot and went west and made my way here the long way around. Pretty good place for a cache, pretty good coordinates made it a pretty easy find. Also the fact that it wasn't really covered up up top, though I guess all the muggles only see this one from the front anyway. I still covered it up better, and it's still really obvious. Signed log, left behind a tjFirey bottlecap token. This was a fun one, thanks for placing it!
