We camp here with The Dalton Gang, (our friends and family). After finding most of the caches in the area we decided to go through our camp gear to find some things we could use for geocaches while we were up here for Labor Day weekend. This is one of the best ways I've found so far to recycle my son's sippy cups . . .

I'll be honest I would NOT have climbed this HILL if it hadn't been for the teenage girls with us. But it was worth it for the gourgeous view! Would recommend visiting at sunrise or sunset.

My husband thought this site looked like an old rock fire ring, but I disputed his idea because it was too close to the tree root. Either way it makes for a great place to hide a geocache!

Congrats to lostdognkitten for FTF!

 Hints

I would hate for you to come all the way up here and NOT find it! Under a tree root, over looking the campground, covered by a rock.

Checked on this one and it had been moved almost 50 feet away. I can't imagine wind or weather moved it that far and it wasn't damaged so I don't think it was an animal. But it's now replaced where it should have been.

Major bummer on this cache- even with the clue, we couldn't find it. We had a big tree- nice pile of rocks around the base root, just no cache. I can't imagine we had the wrong spot, but just couldn't find it. We did find some empty bottles and other trash in the area, so I wonder if it was found and moved, or taken, by some party people? Next time we make it back up we'll double check.
