The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The cache is hanging out with the lichens, and you won't find any in the middle of the trail by the ?? coordinates. Once you figure out what I Lichen about this trail you'll know where to go for the cache.

Congrats to hiking_fool for FTF. I think he must have been a Boy Scout before he became a geocacher, very resourceful and always prepared to dash out for FTF!

Nicely done. No pen, this the photo.

Thanks thegeocachekids for giving me a reason to get outside. It’s always worth it when you are enjoying nature. There is nothing better than acting like a kid again, digging through weeds and climbing trees, all to sign my name on a piece of paper.

Found with Cachly for IOS.

Didn't spot it at first and being an unverified puzzle I started to doubt if I had solved it correctly but sure enough there it was.

1:33 PM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today we headed to Spruce Mountain and Meadow Open Space. We last hiked the mountain 10 years ago for the conclusion of a classic sparrowPI multicache. This time it's the Classic Movie series that is bringing us to the area. (About 12 miles of hiking today.)

I solved this one when I knew I would be coming to the area. (I really like the cache title, so I had to solve the puzzle and hunt the cache.)

Found the container in the open without top or log. Reused some camo tape and left a replacement log and container.

I signed the log. Thanks, thegeocachekids, for the cache.

I took my dog for a long walk on the trail. I checked just to see if there were any caches nearby and, voila, there was a puzzle I recently solved. So we pushed on another 0.2 miles and I found it. Then I realized that it was 75 degrees outside and I didn't wear my coat (which had my pen in it). So I could not sign. But I took a few photos if the CO needs verification. I'm sure I'll get back here soon to autograph it since I am on this trail often. The cache could use a new log. It only has a scrap that has one signature on it. I will try to remember to pack one with a pen! Thanks for this. You made me walk an extra half mile giving me my 10,000 steps for today.

Out geocaching on this pretty Colorado day. We were in the area today so we decided to stop and make the find. Definitely a new trail I've never been on before. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find today. Container crushed and log was gone. I had a replacement container but no real paper. I found a scrap of paper nearby, signed it and put it in the container. Next cacher could bring a replacement log paper.

We went for an easy, slow hike in this open space this morning----another Chamber of Commerce day in Colorado Springs. Picked up some traditionals and wanted to include this mystery find. All is good at the site. SL Thanks for the fun puzzle and hide in a beautiful area.
