Well that was a fun little adventure! I had hoped to get the 5/5 challenge cache just up 6 but there were no parking signs everywhere because of construction. Even though it was after working hours, I didn't want to risk a ticket if a cop came by. So my daughter and I headed into Golden to do this adventure lab.

We had a nice time walking around and checking out the park. Never been here before! It was fun to walk around and check out the buildings, even though they were all closed up.

One of the answers was a tricky as there was no sign, but the associated pamphlet gave me the necessary information.

I almost missed the bonus cache. We were walking back to the car and I checked to see the caches in the area just in case I missed a traditional and saw this bonus cache was super close! I made the find with relative ease. Thanks for the experience! Gets a favorite point for the whole setup and having the bonus cache so close.

I enjoyed the walk around Golden and the History Park this morning. My parents lived in Golden for a few years, and I'd run along Clear Creek when I visited them. I had to laugh at myself, I was wearing my glasses this morning and with a mask on they were completely fogged up a lot of the time. I had to tilt my head at all kinds of strange angles, trying to get to an unfogged spot I could see through. The little one would enjoy feeding the chickens, I'll have to come back with her. Thanks for the smiley!
