This geocache is a field puzzle located along the 40 West Artine.  The difficulty is based on the final cache hide.  Whomever finds this cache first will be rewarded with an FTF (First-to-Find) geocoin that is trackable and has not yet been activated. So you can take it and activate/release it or just keep it for your collection.  You must go to the listed coordinates and use information about the art piece on site in order to solve this field puzzle.  I tried to get good coordinates for both places using my phone GPS and Google maps.  But if you have trouble, feel free to message me.

A = Number of clay pieces in the artwork on site minus 10

B = Number of words in the title of this art piece

C = Final digit of the year on the plaque at the site minus 5

D = Number of letters in the artists' name

E = Number of letters in the name of this dinosaur minus 2

F = Number of letters in the artists' name

The ArtLine is an art experience located along West Colfax Avenue.  If you do the entire ArtLine, it is 4 miles long.  It is accessible via RTD lightrail at the Lamar Station on the W Line and is very bikable or walkable too during the daylight hours. There is also street parking nearby if you are short on time and just want to find the cache.   There are more than 70 public art installations along the ArtLine.  My favorite is a piece called Hidden Dinosaurs by an artist named Michelle Wolins.  There are 11 similar structures along the ArtLine and each one has a "hidden" dinosaur in it.  Some are really obvious and others are more abstract.  This geocache is very close to the one of these pieces.  For a direct link to the Hidden Dinosaurs page (my favorite!), go to https://www.40westartline.org/art/story-totem-art-panels  For more information on the ArtLine and to find a map of the entire route, go to https://www.40westartline.org/

Headed South to Denver with Barasaur. Got some adventure labs and caches. Met up with Fay and LA. Solved some puzzles and found caches. Took sprinklers apart in some places where they shouldn't have been taken apart, but we put them back together. Thanks for the fun adventure.

Headed out for a day of caching with JBullFrog62. Met up with FayColSalTom and LASouthPaw to finish out the day with them. Caches were signed either as myself or as CEGT depending on when we all got together as a group. It was a very relaxing, perfect day to be out with friends enjoying some time together and grabbing smileys. Thanks for being part of our fun.

We had fun with this one. Got the answers for the final coordinates, then got in our own way a bit when looking for the final. But we got it! Giving a fave for this one. Thanks for the smiley!

What a day! Started out finding a few with FayColSalTom, then we joined forces with Barasaur and JBullfrog and went through Lakewood like a hot knife through butter. We mostly targeted Adventure Labs, but found just about anything that caught our interest and / or got in our way. Signed most logs as CEGT, signed a few with our own handles. The temps seemed to drop throughout the day, but that didn't slow us down. Even met a couple geocaching legends as we hopped from cache to cache. What an awesome adventure and I can't wait for the next one!

I was biking around and checking on the 40 West ArtLine caches today. This one has been muggled so I'm disabling it until I can get a replacement.
