This cache will probably be available only from July through September because of snowpack. We often RZR ride the Taylor Park area and the view at the end of this trail is worth it.....nice ride and you will be able to look out and see the little town of Tincup and the steeple on the church! Have fun!

Well we made our annual trip to Taylor Park for the RZR Rally and had a ball. Checked all my caches and did maintenance as needed. All are ready to be found. Previous cacher could not find the cache and said he replaced ours. We found ours right where it should be and could not find his to remove. Look up for ours.

Looked and looked here, unlike the three other cache areas this one looks like it's been disturbed with most trees removed and / or ATV's riding over things. We spent considerable time here and fanning out quite a large radius from what we saw as GZ, but coords were shaky here somewhat - found what we think was close to GZ and placed a new container and will let the CO check on it when they are in area in Aug.

CO said to log it as found so changing log to found and will claim it as an FTF for the time being.

Did not see the steeple very well it was quite in the distance, but to be honest we spent more time looking around GZ than looking at the view here.

Left this area after spending two hours getting here and the three other caches along the way.

Had expected to find 758.1B to connect with Slaughterhouse trail to Tincup but did not see it - what was in area had a log over it and near private property - so from this location you have to backtrack to 752 - by time we got back it was nearly 3 hrs, so this was all we could do with the half day rental.

Note that the ATV guide for Trail #9, Union Park Trail, says to backtrack all the way to 752 once on 758.1, so just be aware of time if you are renting.

Also, the trail from the Rocky Point cache GC7BKAK to this Tincup Overlook cache gets really narrow, scratched my arm from a pine branch, and hoped we would not get charged on the rental for paint damage (they said it was brand new only had it for a week) - trail also got rather rocky, so for newbies we took this section REALLY slow, others may just sail through this section, but it was more technical, if you like that sorta thing - we just didn't want Mrs Geowinnies to make herself RZR sick or bounce out the Doodles from their cocoon on the back seats.

After this cache we finished with a late lunch in town and a shake in a tin cup in Tincup!!!
