On the Captain Jack's Trail
This is my First cache hide so if my coordinates are off, please feel free to change them. When I was on this trail looking for another cache, a bicyclist had a pretty nasty fall, this is when I decided what a great place to hide a First Aid and Safety Cache. It is an Ammo Can container. Contents are: Washclothes, Ice/Hot packs, Glow Stick, Co Flex, Flexible Bandage, Sample Tylenol, Advil, Soap, Two Mini First Aid Kits, Cotton, Disposable gloves, and some toys to make the boo-boo's better. Log sheet and pen.

Making my way down the trail, pulled over to the side and found this one where it's nice and secure for the winter months. All your first aid contents are still good and made sure to repack the entire geocache properly to prevent any water damage. The large ziplock bag has seen better days but it does its job admirably.

Found this without too much trouble off a new trail for me. I filled the container up with toys and took a bandaid for the bramble scratches. TFTC!

It's a beautiful February day-upper 50s and sunny-perfect for geocaching! We decided to work towards a few challenges, grab a few older caches for our Jasmer, and do a little hiking along Gold Camp Road. All containers and logs are in great shape. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.

Headed up Gold Camp today to introduce someone to the joy of caching. Found a couple while up here but didn't pack enough water for the heat of the day so had to head back down. Thanks for helping me introduce them to caching and for being their first cache with goodies inside. They really enjoyed that.

When we made the event hike to Mays Peak last year with the big group this was one of the caches we missed on the way up. I thought we would just grab it on the way back but we ended up going back part of High Drive then walking the Gold Camp Rd. This was my first chance to get back to complete this trail. It was foggy with threats of rain & snow & road closure but that's just part of the challenge. Nice theme cache if you need a band aid.
