across the creek after the turnoff to Twin lakes. 4 wheel drive vehicle recommended up Brush Creek Road, 4 wheel drive a necessity if coming over Pearl Pass from Aspen. A nice waterfall about 200 yards from the cache, worth the hike over to look at it.Gray cylindrical container, has travel bug, notebook, pencil, matchbox truck, Livestrong bracelet, keyring, US quarter, rubber bracelets, Alta sticker, Pedro's sticker.
Update 9/13/2011 Someone seems to have removed this cache, thanks to RDAD for putting in a replacement container and log book.
08/18/2016 By cb_beauty TFTC!! The description page states that this cache is only 8.7 miles from our home location. It is a very challenging 8.7 miles that took us three summers to finally get to. We took a lovely hike in the area while we here. We had no trouble finding the cache.
08/18/2016 By SoldierGrrrl Finally!!! CB_Beauty and I have been trying to get up here for 2 years. Two years ago we tried in my truck and turned around when the trail became too rough, last year left no time for a hike and finally, this year we made it. We rode a UTV up and over the rocks, through the water crossings, and up the hills. We rode from the CB side, so never made it all the way up to the pass. The cache is now a smiley! We tried to look at the waterfall but it seems to be quite overgrown with brush and we were only able to see the very top, even with climbing up to it. To give a reference, there was a Rav 4, factory tires, no lift kit, parked in the twin lake turnoff lot. Fave point for the ride, the view, and for finally getting it.
10/30/2014 By FlyingBug Sitting on the computer re-living some of my cache memories and realized I had not logged this one even though I found it over a year ago. Glad I save pic to add to this log. One of my most memorable solo dirt bike rides from CB to top of Pearl Pass.

07/10/2014 By sacruser I'm not sure what is going on with this cache. I found NO ammo box; but did find the original cache as described. Log was last signed exactly two years ago today. It was about 20 feet NE of GZ in an obvious place. Yes, it is a nice place for a picnic and a spectacular waterfall. All was in excellent shape, no muggles for miles, and parking was plentiful.
