After 5 years of caching we thought we'd finally try our hand at hiding some. So we thought we'd do a series about the great dogs we have been fortunate enough to have as part of our family.

Dog #6 was Bree, short for Brianna that was changed to Bree as soon as we welcomed her to our family. Bree was a pure bred Black Lab who we rescued from one of Mrs.DenBomans co-workers who got her as a gift and had no idea how much puppies chew, how much exercise they need, how many messes they make and was just overwhelmed. She tried to sell her for big money and ultimately got to the point that she was just going to take her to the pound and Mrs Denbomans said oh no you won't! So we went and picked her up and she joined the family giving us 4 dogs at that time, the most we've ever had at one time and only our 2nd female. Bree fit right in with us, the boys and the other dogs and lived a long, happy life.

Welp, Kiya was back on the leash for the walk over to this cache. She kept eying the prairie dogs and trying to get at them even though there was a fence in her way. The prairie dogs must've figured out that they weren't safe across the street at the dog park and moved into this territory. That is a beautiful story about how you rescued Bree. I am so glad she didn't need to go to the pound. Dogs are a lot of work and dog owners understand that, I think. We fostered another dog named Milky before adopting our current dog, Kiya. Milky was not potty trained and we spent many sleepless hours monitoring her to get her trained. She went back to Denver Dumb Friends League and someone adopted her almost instantly. I think it is much easier to get a dog adopted if it is potty trained so we were happy to do our part. Bree looks like a sweet soul and I bet she loved having 3 doggie siblings. Kiya loves being around other dogs but we can only handle just one for now. Hence, the trips to the dog park for her to socialize. I can never get a good pic of her playing with the other dogs. But I will share this one of her at the dog park. I call it "Pure Joy". TFTC, denbomans. We like to use containers like and the duct tape for some of the geocyclists85 hides, too.

Our caching adventure for today was to head out and go find the recently published caches in the area on a very nice day. I broke out the trusty "geo-bat bike" to go after some of the new trail caches. Very nice hide and camo, TNLN,SL,TFTC

Nice that there fairly close to each other and didn't have to spend much time getting them this morning. Took a few minutes to spot it, didn't know which side to exactly look one. Thanks for the series, you've had some fine looking pups. TFTH SL
