After years of caching we thought we'd finally try our hand at hiding some. So we thought we'd do a series about the great dogs we have been fortunate enough to have as part of our family.

Dog #5 was Angus, a purebred Black Lab named after Angus Young from AC/DC. Angus was definitely the boys dog. A great friend of theirs was breeding his lab and promised puppies to a few of his friends. So for $50.00 we got our 1st purebred dog. It wouldn't have happened any other way. Angus was a terrific companion for the boys, always ready to play ball and would even go for runs with them when they were training for any of the upcoming sports seasons. Angus and his siblings were frequently together since many of the pups from the litter went to kids that were already part of a large group that did everything together. Angus got to grow old with us since the boys had all moved on to the next phase of their lives after high school. He was an amazing dog and is still missed.

I was excited to see the denbomans team doggie hides flooding my email inbox a week ago. I had just taken our sweet dog Kiya to Westminster the day before they published. But today we were back again (just me, Jen, since Tricia is in the air flying home from Ireland). Your boy Angus sounded very sweet. Animals really do become part of the family; and Angus fit that bill. By the way, I think you got a bargain! We probably paid at least a $50 fee to adopt Kiya from the Denver Dumb Friends League and she is not a pure bred. She is pure love though (and 1/2 Pittie, 1/4 Boxer and 1/4 Great Dane). I am attaching a picture of her smelling the roses (er, dog pee) at the dog park. Thanks for this series. I cannot wait to "meet" the rest of your dogs through the cache descriptions. I feel like I got to know Angus. You get a fave for the good camo, for the series, and for joining the wonderful world of hiding!

Our caching adventure for today was to head out and go find the recently published caches in the area on a very nice day. One good thing , the dog park was pretty quiet with one or two muggles walking north down the trail. Very nice hide and camo,SL,TFTC

Had a hard time quickly removing the log before more muggles walked by. The last logger shoved the log back in kind of tight :-o Think I rolled it up much tighter this time. Nice Series. TFTH SL
