gaensefuesschen ("little goose feet") has been my caching partner since we met at the 12-12-12 Flash Mob event. Sadly (for me!), she is moving back to her native Germany shortly. I placed this cache in honor of her birthday (which is at the end of August), her departure, and all of the fun times we had together in this crazy sport we call geocaching. I will miss her, but wish her all the best in Germany!

We had made plans to attend the Creation Celebration: Woodland Park Create-a-Cache Event, and stay overnight to work on our Creative Carnival Souvenirs Happily we earned all of our souvenirs early on, but decided to follow through with our plans We had a very lovely weekend in the Colorado Springs area with beautiful weather and fun caches. We also had a great time at the event learning some new things, winning some amazing items, putting some faces to names and making some new friends!!. SL,TFTC

We stopped back by here after voting and found the cache this time! yeah!! My daughter led the hunt and when she got within 20m of the GZ she just started wanting to play in the trees. She just left me to find the cache alone,.. ugh... All the work on this team! :)
