The cache is seasonal, depending on the snow conditions in the area.  It will be available May through November, sometimes earlier, sometimes later in the year.  Check with the local Rio Grande Forest Office if unsure.
It is well worth the look/see as it is in a beautiful area and a fun cache to find.
The cache name is to commemorate years of friendship with a terrific couple who have a summer cabin in the area. For many, many years the four of us have traveled, raises our kids together, shared joys and sorrows.

CB_Beauty and I made an attempt on this one at night with flashlights to fill a fizzy challenge. However, a D/5 at night proved too much for us. We spent about 30 minutes here, but had to call it as we had a 4 hour drive home.

Tried to fine this one yesterday but ended up on the wrong road so checked the map closer this morning. The coordinates are spot on. I have to admit that the strong winds the last few days probably made the cache a little easier than a 5. Absolutely gets a favorite!
