We're on a flyfishing trip to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Our two nephews picked the location for the trip and have organized everything!! What an awesome place!!! The storm that blew through here 4 days ago has left quite an impact on the gorge. The word is that it had the greatest geological impact on the gorge in 50 years!! Our oldest nephew suggested that I bring a cache to hide so he, my husband and I contributed to the contents. There is a fault line that has created the geological difference in the gorge--Ute Park--thus the cache's name created by same nephew!! It's in a safe spot, so don't get too close to the edge. Looking from the river, it's on the high spot! Accessible only by raft and a short hike.

First person in 2 years to find this one. Still in place and in good condition. WOW! What an adventure! I did not have the luxury of a nice raft trip stop and grab. I hiked in to this one from Duncan trail and packed down my fly fishing gear and a float tube to get across to the cache. 2 days of planning and a Full 9hr day of hiking and fishing. What a gorgeous place. I must say I have never worked so hard for a cache before. the route I took has to be a T5. I rescued the TB from its 2 year slumber and I'll move it along. TFTC!!!!

Out for a 3 day rafting adventure and grabbed this one along the way. Giving a fav point for the outstanding location! Coords were spot on, although I looked in the hiding spot at least three times before I finally noticed it. Snagged the Indian Head penny and left a TB. TFTC

Very good view, bring your camera.
Nice place for a cache.
Took a bug, and left 1907 Indian Head Penny.

Spent over an hour looking. Right on the spot, but no cache. Saw big strong Big Horn Sheep full curl. There was snow but not at the location. It was a nice climb down. The Cache may be gone or burried inrubble.
