How does that plane fly?
HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL STABILIZERS

The tail of the airplane has two small wings, called the horizontal and vertical stabilizers, that the pilot uses to control the direction of the plane. Both are symmetrical airfoils, and both have large flaps on them that the pilot controls with the control stick to change their lift characteristics.

With the horizontal tail wing, the pilot can change the plane's angle of attack, and therefore control whether the plane goes up or down. With the vertical tail wing, the pilot can turn the plane left or right.

Despite the large snake holes prevalent to the area, we muddled through and found this! Left the bones, though.
Good hide. Thanks for the fun.

Memfis Mafia and I had plans to get near 1000 caches this weekend in South Dakota. Come Thursday when we were to pick up our rental car from Enterprise they said sorry we do not have a car for you. Even though we reserved one a month in advance. There was not another car in town to rent so we called off our trip.

Today we ran out to get enough caches to finish our Hidden Creatures. We ended up over 100 on the day and about 10% of out plan. In any case this was a cache we got today. Thanks for the hide.

We are on a crazy family mission to get into 5 digits for finds this year. This is find 6772 for us.

Went out and about with Sqweeter today for some caching adventure. First we went south and then we headed north, didn't have too much time left but we did cover a couple power trails. It was hot, glad to get some AC between caches. We've been watching the planes go over on their way to DIA. Nice series off a hardly used road. Lots of jack rabbits and yellow flowers today. This one looks like some nearby farm work coated it in mud, the log was pretty nasty. Had some paper in the car and replaced the log. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2544.
