I'm working to try to reach 100 where I goes. Had fun fishing for this one. Since I'm not an experienced fisherwoman I had a little trouble with the bait, as I'm used to Salmon eggs. Thanks for the fun adventure

I was in this area of town today and this cache was my final target for the day. I really like Wherigo caches and usually seek them out first when I can. The cartridge played perfectly on my iPhone. Really enjoyed the walk through the area on a beautiful day. Thanks for putting together this fun WIG adventure!

This turned into an unexpected adventure. Or rather, unexpected near disaster. But I'll get to that in a bit. I really enjoy Wherigo's but I haven't done a ton. This is my 21st. I had figured I was going to go south along the trail towards other caches I wanted to hit but I was surprised to find myself going north. I have walked a decent portion of the High Line Canal Trail but never over here. Obviously now it all makes sense why I went north but it didn't at first.
As others have mentioned, you have to exit the zone you're in to find out what to do/where to go next. But once I figured that it all worked very well. Great setup and for that alone this deserves a favorite.
I did probably confuse a group of muggles who were doing legitimate fishing at the first jetty. But thankfully I didn't have to go all the way out there to make the Wherigo happy.
I really liked the final and that also is another reason to award this cache a favorite point. Excellent execution and setup!
I was feeling very happy and had totally felt like the trip was worth it. I didn't realize anything was wrong until I was a little ways down the trail past the parking area (to the south). I felt my left front pocket where I keep my wallet, and nothing... I didn't panic, but it did make me pretty nervous. I figured it must've come out by the final. Maybe along the trail but I thought that was doubtful.
So, I made my way back, keeping a close eye on the trail. I retraced my steps for the Wherigo. Nothing. I searched around the final. Nothing. I went through the leaves. Nothing. NOW I was starting to panic.
To be fair, I didn't have any cash in my wallet and so everything there was replaceable. But not fun or quick to replace.
For the second time in my search I headed back towards the trail, looking through the grass. Highly doubting it would be there but, when you lose something you always seem to find it where you don't expect it. And sure enough, there it was! I have no idea how that happened, but I was very relieved to have it back. :)
Fishing is fun. But not fishing for your wallet. This was truly a great cache and I hope many more people try it out. Great introduction to Wherigo if you've never done it before.
Thanks for the hide irid3sc3nt. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Enjoyed an afternoon walk on the canal and playing this cartridge made it even more fun! Everything worked perfectly until opening the tacklebox and then things stalled. Maybe it was because I'm new to the Wherigo experience or because my phone is not exactly the latest model, but after a little backtracking, things finally loaded and I was on my way with no further problems. TNLNSL. Thanks for an entertaining cache and a final full of goodies!

Was in area and decided to play. This was a fun cache. Even though the pond is frozen the cartridge work great. Thanks for putting it together for us to play. Well done.

Wow!! Love this Wherigo. Great fun on the last warm day before the snow hit. Love an ammo can. We don’t get enough of them in the area. We picked up the TB to move along. Never seen so much swag in one container. Hope everyone gets a chance to experience this Wherigo! Favorite point awarded.
Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.
Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

This is only the second of this type of cache that I have done and I enjoyed it very much. I have never ventured down to the pond before but I have been through there on the canal trail zillions of times. Thanks for a fun one. I took one of the TBs to put in one of 10 new caches I am planning to hide next weekend.

Fishing IS fun, and so is this wherigo. I've been looking forward to this one, and it did not disappoint.
Perfect cool morning to do this. Had the place to myself. Loved the final, and all the SWAG. Kids will love it.
Picked up a trackable, and left two. Gets a fave for sure!

[FTF] with the constantly pleasant herndonrd at some time in the morning.
Whether or not herndonrd is willing to admit it, he is becoming an FTF tramp. Since he had yet to get a first to find on a Wherigo, I knew convincing him to drive out to this one would be easy. It felt good to be right for a change.
Once we figured out how to get to the parking coordinates, I turned on the Wherigo cartridge and we began our journey. One thing I learned with this cartridge is that the next location does not appear as an option until you start walking towards it. I had not encountered that with previous Wherigos that I had done, so this took a little time to get used to.
We enjoyed the fishing trip and had no trouble casting our lines. We were wearing shorts when we arrived at the final and survived unscathed. Fortunately I left the flip flops at home for a change (much to herndonrd's dismay) which would have been problematic at the final.
When we found the container and laid witness to a blank log, our jubilation was boundless. In fact, I think herndonrd smiled (in reality it was probably a grimace, which for him is the same thing). We signed the log and cheered mightily in silence (which is not an easy feat). After putting everything back in order, we made the trek back to the car as there were other caches to be found. Thanks for the great hide and well made Wherigo. Favorite point added for the whole experience (except for somebody's grimace).
P. S. No animals (including humans or PayMeCache) were harmed in the writing of this log.

{FTF} @ 1015 with FeartheFish. Out caching with FeartheFish and like usual driving his butt all over the place. He says: "Do you want to try to FTF a new Wherigo?" I say: "Is it on this side of the planet (with him you never know....)". We get over to the area, finally find a place to park, and start on the adventure. Nicely done with scenic set of points and a nice load of "fish" at the final. Give it a fav. TFTC!
