Peacock Protectors have been monitoring a Furon Space Beacon. Recently it went off line, and they are looking for additional data on why.
The Peacock has been associated with light, watchfulness and resurrection in myths from India to Europe. The bird is associated with the Phoenix, another symbol of resurrection.

In the 17th century, the golden Peacock Throne was created for the Mughal Badshah Shah Jahan of India. Shah Jahan had the Koh-i-noor diamond placed in the throne. Nader Shah Afshar of Persia invaded India and took both the throne and the diamond back to what is now Iran. The throne was lost in later chaos.

Recent research in India and Iran have revealed hints of a power behind the rulers, which worked behind the scenes. Known as the “Peacock Protectors”, they were independent of the rulers, protecting the rulers when they were wise and just, and opposing them when they were ruthless and tyrannical.

The “Protectors” seem to have dropped out of sight when Persia was conquered by Islam, and there are few reports of their activity on the Indian subcontinent in recent centuries. However, as the earth is subjected to invasion by rival alien forces, there are reports of Peacock Protector activity once again. Recently disclosed documents from Penguin Intelligence mention obstruction and interference by beings appearing as Peacocks. There has been no public mention of the Peacocks from the Furons or the Rubber Chickens, but several well known Furon outposts have gone missing recently.

Who are the Peacock Protectors? Are they human? Are they alien? Are they supernatural? Only time will tell.

The nearby Furon Space Beacon recently went off line, and no remnants of the site remain. Please add your data by inscribing on the provided log.

Bring your own inscription device. Beware of Rubber Chickens and other muggles.

I’ve always wanted to do these caches along the trail. Today was the day! After dropping my son off at school, I headed over here before making Panera Bread my office for the day.

This was the first of four caches I found this morning. I didn’t take the most direct route to the cache but got there all the same! Beautiful spot.

I think I’ve found a few other Peacock Protector caches before. And I’m always happy to find caches from this CO. Hide is very well executed and was a quick find. All good with the log.

Thanks for the hide KA&JWest. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.
