IMPORTANT- READ CAREFULLY - URGENT! NEWS FLASH - WATCH OUT FOR ALIENS FROM OUTER SPACE. Cache is about 5 inches in diameter. It is not deep enough to hold anything except a log. Bring a log extraction tool such as tweezer. Cache top lifts only about 1/4 inch and only from one side. A mark on the bottom will assist. Please handle with care.
This container may eventually end up in the Smithsonian Museum as evidence of being visited from outer space. It appears that it was a crash landing. Who knows where they went. The crash site is conveniently located (for us)at a small car pull off. No need to forage in the weeds.

I found this container while flying over head and I said to myself "WHAT IS THAT?"
I think this will be a unique container for most cachers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE ORIGINAL SPACECRAFT WAS MUGGLED (a road grader got it) AND YOU WILL BE LOOKING FOR THE RESCUE SPACECRAFT WHICH IS ABOUT THE SAME DIAMETER BUT A MORE MODERN STYLING. coords reflect minor change from original location. This should be safer, and more prominent. The rescue ship also crash landed after hitting something.
Have fun with it.

Congratulations to CACHER.CHAD for First to Find.

This container might have been assaulted by the aliens. A little furry insect was living inside it.
Today was a lesson in flexibility. My plan was to leave work on time and head up to Fort Collins for some distant caches. I overlooked the fact that I need gas to drive that far.
So, after some caching in Northfield, I compromised and started caching east of Boulder near I25. I thought, I'll grab 30 or so. But my lack of fuel cut than number to five or so. I headed to the pumps. That's when I got a little help with a puzzle... which sent me through Lafayette to the puzzle and a smiley! I noticed that several FTF's had come out earlier. Surely, I would be too far away to get them.
But the 5Miller multi was still unfound. By now it was 9:30 and I was still way up north. I can't let an FTF go. I called the CO who said "darkness won't be your friend" when finding this one. Actually, darkness is my only friend :) Challenge accepted. Made the find.

TFTC The container is a little worse for wear but it's still there. Signed the log after work at 08:30.

Working the Thornton area today. Made the quick find and continued on. Thank you for the placement. Looks like this hasn’t been found in a while. All kinds of interesting things living in the container
