This series will take you to geocaches at baseball fields around the Denver area to honor the game.

This cache will take you to Hargrove Park, also known as Holly Hills, a baseball complex by Holly Hills Elementary School.  There is parking close by, and if there is a game going on you should be able to find it.  The parking is up on a hill, so if someone is being pushed in a wheelchair, he or she could find it, but if not, it is not wheelchair accessible.  You are looking for a small, black cylindrical container.  Hope you enjoy the fields and happy hunting!

Since our band of cachers includes two avid baseball players, we have spent lots of time here at Holly Hills over the past few years -- in fact, this location feels like a second home during spring. And although we've picked up lots of caches during baseball games over at nearby Bible Park, somehow we had no idea that this one existed until a couple of weeks ago. We had a few unsuccessful tries with the original coordinates; a BIG thank you to Fork L Man for the adjusted coordinates which made it much easier to find. Incidentally, those earlier attempts with original coordinates were centered around a tree that must have been cut down this morning -- its absence today was rather jarring. TFTC!
