GZ was very far off. Fortunately Kroozer had been able to make the find anyway and put good coordinates in her log. After wandering around aimlessly for awhile and rea the log and made the find easily. SL Too hot today for any more caches!

This was an early morning beast hunting adventure! I was a little confused about the west side of the creek, since the banks seemed to be north and south close to GZ, so I searched according to the coords and came up empty. Did look up to see deer staring at me about fifty feet away though! Finally, after crossing and recrossing the creek, I decided to search the beastly-looking creatures in the area and found the correct beast about 168’ from GZ. Quite a creative and fun container and worth the hunt! Signed a blank log FTF at 7:04 AM, took nothing from the beast, and was off to let him sleep. Thanks for the adventure! (Closer coords for future searchers are N39 33.428 W104 57.848).
