Eleventh in the series.
This cache is part of a series of caches we placed on a 29 mile ATV loop near Del Norte, CO. We call it the Quad Quest. All containers are 50 cal. ammo cans. You can do them all in one day but it is strongly recommended that you plan on 2 days to do the loop. There is a cabin just west of QQ6 that is a great place to stay if nobody is there already. Take a tent just in case. If you find all 12 of these you will have the coordinates to the Quad Quest Puzzle Cache. These are all worth doing on their own but getting all of them is even better. We spent two wonderful days hiding these along with lostagain83. We hope you enjoy finding them as much as we enjoyed hiding them.

Our second QuadQuest of the day. It was really good that the coordinates were spot on - otherwise this would have been a classic cache in a talus stack situation. We approached GZ from downhill and downstream which limited the amount of rock hopping, but care is still necessary on the rocks. Watched a weasel out pika hunting and heard many of the latter. The hike up from the trailhead is about 3 miles and 1800 vertical feet, but walking on the ATV trail is generally easy going. QQ 10 and 9 we'll try to hike to from the west. TFTC

Thanks for the cache! After going so long without a find, I'm happy to report everything is in great shape!

We had asked daveandgina how much hiking was involved for this Quest, and they said "there is one in a boulder field". Coming from the bottom, we figured this was it, and though we had to hunt a bit, it really wasn't bad. We were in for a surprise...anyway, we saw some cute picas dashing about. We left the second of our 3 hand forged hooks, and took a hand warmer. Thanks for the ride!

We walked up to GZ thinking it was hopeless, but somehow we found it. It was a tough hide but a great apot. TFTC!
