I saw two beautiful mule deer while placing this cache. I named this cache after those two deer; Snuffles and Spacey. Yes, I named them. Who wouldn't. I did not have carrots. They ran away.

>>> Please put field puzzle back as found. <<<

This is a very quiet location. While searching, you will more than likely be alone on this trail.

Necessary and very much required "Deer Joke":

What cheesy dip do deer love to eat?

Good luck, have fun!

I decided to park and take a walk up this trail, despite it being pretty hot out. Grasshoppers were criss-crossing the path as I enjoyed the peace and quiet. At GZ, I saw something out of the ordinary and yep, that's it! Very cool idea. Only a few weeks old this cache is, so I'll give it it's 4th FP. Also, while looking, I thought I heard a hawk screeching nearby, but it was very close and I was confused. Turns out to be a blue jay mimicking a hawk! That's so amazing haha. Thanks for the cache!

After starting work very early this morning, I decided to knock off early (it's Friday too) and get out for some caching before my kids got home from school. I ended up getting 5 of 6 but that was enough because it was over 90 today and I didn't feel like being out in the sun too much.

A nice short hike on a hot day. Using the rock bridge led to a pretty steep scramble on the other side. Almost to much for my old legs. Finally got in the right area and and spotted something that looked like it didn't belong and sure enough the cache was there. SL and put things back together. Used the main trail on the way out to avoid the steep slope.
