Panera Bread Cafe
This is a simple cacher coffee event designed to start out the week. The idea behind this event series is to brag and share geocaching stories from the previous weekend and plan our conquests for the next week. Come and share coffee and fellowship as we start the week right - with friends.
This event is inside of the location and can be held outside if necessary. The owner has provided chairs and plenty of space for us to remain distanced.

08/21/2023 By FayColSalTom My once weekly slog to Fort Collins is turning into a regular trip, now that Tom has moved up to the halls of CSU! Since last Monday, I have driven up 3 other times. Unfortunately Monday for him is his crazy busy day, so I don't get to see him after coffee... if only his schedule was different. As always, great to see everyone and have the opportunity to chat about Geocaching. Have a great week, and I will see you next Monday - AND PICK UP THE BANNER (nudge, nudge).
08/21/2023 By Denali41 Well, another great MMM-up event, with the regular attendees; plus another visit by AZTraveler to get more insight into how wherigos are downloaded; plus a fun get-to-know an otter lover from Kalamazoo! Wide-ranging discussions on a variety of geocaching topics including the standard who-is-going-where-for-what, details. Of course Fay tops the list of going-where's, always. Can't keep straight on all she's got going, and where. This weekly meet-up is one I always look forward to. And Jeremy, TFTE!
As a post script, Peter the otter lover was here on the farm Wednesday morning getting after my nine caches here. We had a fun walk together and enjoyed the conversation string. He has some pretty marvelous geocaching credentials. I guess his plans to climb some Colorado 14ers fizzled after he took a short hike from the top of Pike's Peak down to a cache along the trail and returned back up. Coming from Michigan to 14,000 feet is a toughie, he discovered!
08/21/2023 By kzooOtters I set my alarm to make sure I made it to this event this morning. I got there early and found the right table. Soon the rest of the regular gang arrived too. I really enjoyed meeting everyone who attended. I enjoyed hearing of their adventures, past, present, and future. Always fun seeing how a distant community does things. Looking forward to finding several of the suggested caches in the area, and perhaps crossing paths with fellow cachers this week while I'm in town. Thanks for hosting and adding to my adventure! TFTC
TODAY’S ADVENTURE: I woke in Fort Collins this morning. I had heard of this Monday Morning Meetup sometime ago. To finally be able to attend one was exciting. I arrived early and found the right table. Soon the rest of the locals arrived. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and appreciated the suggested caches to get after.
Afterwards I headed south to pick up two new Colorado Counties, a high value target cache, and several other target caches. A few target caches on my list got scratched as I did some further reading of them. I, however, did pick up a couple extra caches along the way too. Although today it was 98 degrees in Downtown Boulder it was a successful and fun geocaching day!
ROAD TRIP EXTRAVAGANZA: A few months ago RxWranglers asked if I would be interested in an adventure in Colorado. He wanted to grab caches on the peaks of the states 14er’s. It sounded like a great idea so I was all in. In the meantime, our oldest Minion was looking at colleges for a masters degree. As luck would have it she picked Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Even luckier yet was the dates RxWrangler and I originally set months ago lined up pretty good for when the Minion needed to get moved out to her apartment. So Friday Morning with a U-Haul Trailer and my truck full of her belongings we left Kalamazoo, Michigan for Fort Collins. The plan was to arrive Saturday at Noon in Fort Collins, unload the trailer, & return said trailer. Then Sunday morning pick up RxWrangler at the Denver Airport for a 7 day adventure at altitude. We have our sights set on 10 mountain summits: Mt Evans, Pikes Peak, and 8 others. Time will tell!
Thanks to all the CO’s for placing these fine caches for all to find. Some or many of them will probably help with one of many challenge caches I’m currently working on. If a photo is required, it has been attached. If answers are required they will be sent in a moment. If proof of qualification is needed it will be attached. Thanks for adding to my adventure and for helping me to play the game within the game. TFTC

08/21/2023 By Jbullfrog62 It was great to see everyone this morning. Great turnout with people traveling from Michigan, Arizona, Alaska, Australia, Georgia, and Kansas. Ok, maybe only one visitor from Michigan the others just recently traveled to those destinations. Like other recent events there was talk about Android and iPhone programs and how to do Where-I-gos.
