ABOUT THE SERIES

The Stanford Hill Series is a 12-cache mini-geotour surrounding the Stanford Hill subdivision in Aurora. Stanford Hill was completed in 2003, and is conveniently situated between Antelope Ridge Elementary, Thunder Ridge Middle, and Eaglecrest High Schools. The 1100+ residents are proud of their clean, peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood. For these reasons, please be discreet and stealthy while geocaching in this area. Please refrain from caching during school arrival and dismissal times, as well as after dark.

You will get the most enjoyment from the series by caching in numerical order. Refer to the “Parking” waypoint in cache #1, “Anteloper” (GC7WFBE), for the closest available parking. The walking distance for the entire series is about 2.5 miles.

Finding the final in the series, “What Does This Hill Stand For?” will require information obtained from within each of the caches in the series. This information is in the form of a numeric code, which when put together in order will give you the final cache coordinates.

There must be a real geo-hater in the neighborhood, as the cache has been removed for the 3rd time. Will be rethinking this one. Look for an update soon.

Found cache on my evening run. Lost pen on the way to the cache so am posting a picture of the log. It took some creativity to remove the log without a TOTT. It also took me a second to find the clever series code. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

Moved placement slightly and switched to a different type of container. Let me know what you think!

Cache is missing again. Guess I will have to turn up the cleverness quotient to keep the muggles away from this one. Stay tuned...
