Was out doing a welfare check on my ammo can at the lookout tower, so decided to drop a couple more caches.

The cache is a costco nut jar hidden in a stump a few feet above the road.

Mugglehoney and I spent last week in Denver for a big volleyball tournament. We decided to take a vacation day afterwards to pick up several targeted caches.

I wanted to get a two mile high cache, so I chose this one and the firetower cache up higher. That way if I couldn't find one, there was still another.

When I got to GZ, there was a lot of snow but there was a beacon calling out. I intentionally hiked a bit past to an area that had no snow and came back so that muggles wouldn't follow my footprints to the cache. Thankfully, I made a quick find.

Great geocache. Haven't made this hike in four years. Kind of peaceful now that there is a stage 1 fire ban in Clear Creek County, no shooting down below, at least not much (10 shots the whole time I was hiking). Quick find, had to sit still for a few minutes before replacing because of sudden surge of muggles.
