Warning: It's easy to get turned around/lost here. Mark your car! Walk of a little more than 500 feet.
This is an ammo can. It starts with a bunch of toys, potato gun, and a rain poncho. The cache is hidden in plain view between a single thigh high stump and a rock.

There is some tree cover, so it may take a while to find.

If you are looking for this in the snow - you will have to dig the cache out.

There is an outhouse and picnic tables nearby. Muggles shouldn't be a problem.

A little harder to find today under about 4 inches of snow. Dropped a trackable in the cache that we picked up 2 days ago from Toronto.

Greetings from Oklahoma! In our yearly fall trip to Colorado. We came over here to find a good variety of caches. Cache was right where it should be. Hummm, DT is a little low. Lol Thanks for the fun adventure.

We took the old Mustang for some exercise today with the goal of driving on some fun roads and caching. We stopped for this one and found it with no problem. On our way in we marked our trail with trash we found along the route. It was easy to not get turned around by following our trash trail out. Unfortunately for cachers coming behind us, we picked up the trash and took it with us! The cache and contents are in great shape. We didn't find a trackable in the cache. We took nothing, left yen, signed log. Thanks GreasePot for placing this cache so that we can play!

Nice hide. It is easy to get turned around here. Let’s see if I can get back.

This cache is helping me raise today's overall total to 26, the number of caches necessary to turn a given square in the 366 grid a second shade darker. The first such change occurs at 11 caches, and I've already done that for the entire grid. 26 caches is a whole 'nuther ballgame. Wish me luck! And thanks for the cache!

Caching in the Colorado Rockies and visiting my caching friend Hives in Colorado Springs.
Today's goal is to find caches at the high altitude of Mt. Evans.

What a beautiful area. Nice hide.

Smile Many thanks to Greasepot for placing this cache. Smile

We really enjoyed going out to this one. It will be a favorite. I left a travel bug that needed a good place to hang out. We did mark the car as you suggested, but had no trouble getting back. Thanks for the cache!

My wife and I attended GeoWoodstock 14er earlier in the day and then we headed to Mt. Evans to do the Virtual and find the other caches on the way down. Catzilla and Viking Nav joined us for the trip. We saw plenty of mountain goats on the way up. While we were at the summit we saw two people dressed in school mascot costumes. One of them did a hand stand right at the edge of the mountain. WOW! I enjoyed the hike out to this one. We found the cache after a quick search at GZ. Nice hide. Last find for the day. VikingNav and I are touring Colorado during our 10-day Geowoodstock 14er vacation. Our targets were Virtuals, Earthcaches, new counties, and caches with high favorite points, as well as any other great cache that catches our eye along the way. By the end of the trip we have found 84 amazing virtuals, several awesome Earthcaches, 36 new counties, and many great caches. I made my milestone of 1,000 Virtual Finds and then passed it by finding an additional 27! I am very thankful to all the cache owners that helped make this trip such a blast! Without your efforts, geocaching wouldn’t be the same. I have emailed all our answers to each CO of the Virtuals and Earthcaches found.

Heading up to Mt Evans after attending GeoWoodstock 14er this morning. We met up with Leopold22 and his wife, who graciously allowed up to tag along in their car. I made it up to the top, slowly, then did quite a few caches on the way down. Made a quick find after a short hike. TFTC
