relic \re-lik\ n 4: a trace of some past or outmoded practice, custom, or belief (Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th ed.)

I first tried to hide this geocache on 28 Feb 2012, but then it sat mostly forgotten in a box of geocaching stuff. Back then, this modified log may not have been familiar to younger cachers. Now that 12 ½ more years have passed, a few of you were not even been born when these things were around. Thank you to IgnotusPeverell for brushing the cobwebs off the original cache page for this hide!

Special tool required (attribute) is a Sharpie to record your name in case the one I left becomes frozen (winter) or dried (summer). For those without the means of the aforementioned special tool, a non-relic (aka paper) log is available

I could have been FTF on this cache yesterday, but I unfortunately had too much other stuff going on! But I figured I’d come get this now since I’m out for an errand anyway. Very creative cache! I had sort of a hard time with my stamp at this one, but I got enough on there.

I'm not sure how this one went almost 24 hours without a FTF. The local FTF hounds must be out of town for the holiday weekend. I'll take it. I definitely got a chuckle from this cache. Bob Saget approves. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.
