The bat houses on the Cherry Creek Trail overlook everything. They see everything. They have watched people grow up for years and years. These bat houses were always the highlight of my walks with my grandparents as a kid. I would always point out the bat houses, admiring them like they were a candy shop. Finally, today I got to see the bat house up close. A little disappointed about how they were really just a thin sheet of wood essentially. Beware of rattlers and cacti in this area.

Wow-o-wow! Yeah I think the coords are still a bit off but it definitely is bouncy around there. You are better off sticking with your gut about where it should be. After re-reading backcountry's log multiple times I retraced their steps and on my way back to the correct location boom!!! Right in front of my face! Idk how I missed it multiple times. I probably brushed up against it like 5 times haha. But at last, I got er!


Daily Log


I was here at this cache so long I wasn't about to give up and go for another. I needed that Daily fulfillment and this was it! So happy I was able to finally locate it and get back to my walk! Whew.

So I read the logs and headed towards GZ & yes the GPS does jump around in here. I looked in about a 15’ radius around GZ, which is hard here because of all the stabbing & scraping sticks on the ground and at eye level. After about 15 minutes I decided to return back towards this caches namesake & as Kroozer said there it was. I hope it stays put but I left it exactly as I found it.

Wandered around the area for awhile with no luck. GPS was erratic, so coords were all over the place. Made my way closer to GZ and there it was! Signed a blank log at 12:15 pm as FTF. Thanks for the cache!
