In honor of International Geocaching day, I am placing two brewery caches today.

I am combining my love of craft beer with a great outdoor activity in creating this series. All caches in this series will be within walking distance of a Colorado brewery.

For this cache you will need to use major stealth (especially on Friday and Saturday) as it is heavily populated by muggles.

Please "lift" the cache up and do not pull down on it. This will help keep the hanger attached to the pill bottle. Please BYOP and replace the cache as well hidden as before.

The brewery is located just west of GZ.

If anyone is interested in helping me with this series, please message me. I am looking for people in northern and southern Colorado, the mountains and the western part of the state.

We pulled up to the GZ and I saw a pine tree... my nemesis. But the container didn't elude us for too long. TFTC!

Today @WindAtMyBack and I went on a venture to find an astronomical amount of caches. We ended up with 13... more of a good luck/bad luck number of caches. But we ended the night finding a few caches with @2lablovers and then Sonic for drinks. Great night!

Had to spend a lot of time in the prickles before I was successful. SL Rewarded myself with an Oktoberfest at the nearby pub. One of my favorites.

Today is the last day of my streak. 21 days. Not much to write home about I realize, but it's a big deal for me! Why not keep going? Frankly, it's too much pressure and takes some of the fun out of caching for me. I'm amazed at those who have done a year or multiple years of a streak going. I'm choosing to be content with my measly 21 days though. :) But I digress.

This somehow, someway, was a park and grab for me. Except I didn't park. I walked. Not just from my car to the cache, but from my HOUSE to the cache! At just over a half mile away, this was a nice early Sunday morning walk with my dog Jack (pictured).

Having read the logs, and seeing on the map where the hide was going to be, I admit to being a bit nervous. These are often my nemesis, as I'm sure they are for most people. But as they say, every dog has his day. And apparently today Jack let me have his. Because I literally had the cache in hand in less than a minute. Glad to get this closest cache to me on the found list without getting dizzy going around and around. I look forward to finding more of yours. Great idea for a series.

Thanks for the hide prerules. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

{FTF} @ 21:08 with PoshCacher and MagicCacher. Was out working for Doordash this evening and right at the end of the shift a bunch of new caches published and this was the closest to us at the time. So we headed to the GZ and made the find and saw a rat just hanging out.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc
