AIRPORT COMPASS ROSE This is one a series of 13 caches highlighting Boy Scout Eagle Projects around Delta, Colorado.  Note that two of the projects are found on Waymarking.com since they do not include actual caches.

The Compass Rose painted in 2000 by a scout from troop 485 cannot actually be seen from anywhere other than from the air. This road runs above the airport and you can see the runway from here so this is where the cache is hidden.  The container is a small/medium black cylinder and could potentially hold a small TB. The cache is on the road side of the fence.

Thank you again for another green square in my January grid on yet another crisp, clear day! I was a little timid rounding the first bend, but after taking a 360 video of the view from the cache and looking into it a little, I think I might want to come back here and hike around in the badlands someday.
