CHURCH SIGN This is one a series of 13 caches highlighting Boy Scout Eagle Projects around Delta, Colorado.  Note that two of the projects are found on Waymarking.com since they do not include actual caches.
This church sign Eagle Project was one of my favorites and always will be dear to my heart.  The young man who did the project is a hard worker and even though there were obstacles thrown in his way, he just kept going.  A very sad thing happened while he was in the middle of the project in 2009. The church youth pastor (and mentor to many) passed away at an early age after a quick and mean battle with cancer.  The sign project continued regardless and was well thought out, carried out, and  very well done. It is one of the best quality projects that I have seen.  This cache is placed for an awesome young man in memory of an amazing youth pastor, E.W.  The cache is a small green taped bottle.  There is no need to go on church property, the cache is placed only a few feet off the intersection on the shoulder of the road.
