This is Firstview, CO. A small, unincorporated community in East Central Colorado on US 40.

Local legend has it that if one were to look west from this area on an exceptionally clear day, they would get their first view of Pike's Peak, hence the name Firstview. Now, I haven't had that experience yet, and I haven't yet been able to find any information backing up these claims, but who knows, you might get lucky. ^_^

Not, I couldn't as it was not a very clear day, but that's okay as last Labor Day I cached atop that mountain, even attending an event there. This one almost fooled me as I wasn't expecting something so small, but my fingers found it and I signed the log, so all is well; good job and TFTC!
