Thanks to AD0OR for letting me borrow his challenge cache idea!
This is a very simple Challenge Cache, but it will get just a little bit harder every year, but, of course, once you've found it, the there is no need to do anything in following years. The cache is at the posted coordinates, but before you can log your find you must have found a cache placed during each calender year since the year 2000, in your log please include a list :

All cache finds must be from Colorado! I really like going after older caches, and this will give you a taste of some of the older caches.

Boy did I try way too hard for this one. Last night, at home, I was planning on this challenge.] Hey, there's a trail from the east - let's take that. Well, I did. Unfortunately I hadn't paid attention to the elevation bands on the map. It was just about a thousand-foot climb in maybe .75 miles. It was somewhat busy too; people (mostly younger than me) were going up and down, and a few dogs too. I made it to the "second" top, where I was about .25mi from GZ. Hey, it looks a lot lower down there. After the fact, I found that I'd climbed to a spot about 500' higher than the cache. I suppose I could have continued and descended off-trail to GZ, but that would have been much dumber than I'd already been. So I descended the trail and decided to drive along the road to check out a smarter approach. [It turned out that my approach was similar to that of "Back Country Horsemen"'s. The last .15 miles were a little tricky. Luckily, I was thoughtful at a couple of critical decision points, and made it to GZ without really bushwhacking - I was surprised that it could be done! Once there, I managed to find the cache container in just a minute or two. It sure looked like the real thing, and I noted the replacement log that was installed three years ago.

I qualify for this challenge. I don't always trust Project-GC challenge checkers, so I compiled my list of qualifiers by hand (these caches are all in Colorado):

Wow I can't believe I just put so much effort into such a low rated challenge cache. I just climbed Mt Morrison so I thought I'd take a spin up here & finally clear this one out. Well, you can't park at either end of the two track that shows on GE so I had to park a ways down the road where it is legal and walk through the high grass just to get started. Then puff puff up & up through the dried & stickery knapweed finally to the cache. I know i qualify, but now I still need to go home & research my list!

I took advantage of my Spring Break week to get out and get some caches that have been on my short list. I had been waiting on this one to get Tarryall which I got in 2015. I just haven't gotten up here to get this find. The no parking sign has been giving me issues since I wasn't sure where else to approach from. I was able to run up the hill early this morning and make the find with no trouble.

Denali41, his puppy Orizaba, and I traveled from Wellington and Loveland to the Morrison area today to hike and cache on Mount Morrison. And what a beautiful day it was! After hiking to the top of the mountain and finding all the caches along the way, we drove west to this cache. Denali41 had logged this cache long ago so Zaba and I made the hike to GZ. The cache was quickly in hand and I signed the fairly fresh log. My stats are public and you can see that I have complete the Jasmer so I qualify for this "mini-Jasmer." Thanks Greasepot!!!
