Cannot be accessed from Vollmer Road. You must enter the neighborhood from the west. Medium sized cache hidden by a group of 4 young siblings as their very first geocache creation. Come enjoy the beauty of Black Forest, the place we call home. Many horses graze near here and it's a fairly easy find. No need to enter the section of Wildflower Road that goes east of Huntsman.

Out in the area to see a friend and thought I would slide by and give this one a try. Thanks Jake, I signed the log. TFTC

{FTF, 2200} I was preparing to wind down for the evening when the alarm bells started going off. Either the nuclear reactor in my basement was leaking again, or there was a new geocache posting. Fortunately it was a new posting, and not far off. Since it was relatively close, and rather late, I thought I had a shot on the FTF for this cache so I took off into the night. This is a new area of Black Forest for a geo-placement, so I had never been back here before. Thank goodness for GPS. I finally got to GZ and was glad there was decent parking without having to park near someone’s house at this hour. I was grateful to make the find on this one rather quickly, and even more pleased to see that I was indeed FTF.

I kind of wish it was lighter out so I can see my surroundings better…I was intrigued by the “private preserved land” sign I saw. Two things that did concern me was the parking dog that started as soon as I pulled up. I was grateful that no one from the nearby residence came out to see what I was doing. The other thing that concerned me was that I found the key that someone has hidden near GZ…I hope no geocacher messes with that.

Thanks to the CO for placing this cache for everyone to find. I noticed that this is the CO’s first placement, off to a great start! TFTC.
