This cache is located at about 10,000 feet elevation about 0.75 miles from the trailhead on what I consider a moderately strenuous trail.

The cache is located just outside the boudary of the Flat Top Wilderness.  It located about 0.75 mile from the trailhead for Trail 1121.  The trailhead is adjacent to Road 900 just past the turn-off for the Bear Creek Campground.  You are looking for a camoed bison tube.  I think the find should be relatively quick after the hike up.  If you continue on up the trail into the Wilderness for another 0.75 mile you will reach a ridge with a nice view of the Mandall Creek valley.  Another 1.5 mile brings you to Slide Mandall Lake and anouther 1.0 mile to Black Mandall Lake.  Be sure you go prepared if headed to the cache or these other destinations.  The cache is at about 10,000 feet elevation and the weather can change quickly in the mountains.  Enjoy, the hike.

I visited the cache and all is well with it, other than it hasn't been found by anyone yet. Come on all you cachers. I know this one is a bit of hike and uphill, but it isn't that tough. It has been over a year and still no FTF. I'll make it even easier. The tree you are looking for is near the aspen in this picture.
