Small cache with only a log and pencil to deal with.
This cache is located on a small creek with no official name that
our family calls Cell Phone Creek. Our grandson found a cell phone
here that had been lost and ran over by a snowmobile. Also this is
the closest place to one of our favorite camping spots that we can
receive cell service. The cache is a small black container near the stump of a
beetle killed pine tree.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine_beetle
One of thousands of such dead trees in this National Forest. The
forest service road this cache is located on dead ends apprx. 5
miles up the road, but there is an awesome view from there if you
have the time. Have Fun!! cocoalminer and utwildflower

Day 2 of our trip from Kansas City, MO to Antioch, CA to see the granddaughters. Today was from Burlington CO to Salt Lake City, UT, picking up counties we needed in Colorado and Utah. A good day of sunshine and just a little rain, and able to find almost every one we tried. Interesting scenery, snow still on the ground in some places, and some fun, quick caches.

Mrs. Trekkie jumped out for this one while I turned the caching mobile around. Then grabbed the benchmark close by.

Thanks for the work you put into these fun caches and all the smileys.
