This cache was placed in honor of our sister’s 207th find. We love her very much, and thank her for introducing us to geocaching!

We wanted to place it for her 200th find, but due to her excellent orienteering and sleuthing skills in the land of cheddar, she passed up the 200 mark like a nimble forest creature, gracefully sprinting from bog to tree limb, then back to a historic park for a refreshing drink from a gentle brook. Ah….

The park the cache is placed in was chosen for a reason. The varied terrain holds sentimental significance, as the sledding hill here has provided mystical memories. These include sun-blindness, micro-derm abrasion treatments by ice pellets caught in 50 m.p.h. winds, and bruised bottoms from falling on packed snow.

In town visiting my daughter and her husband who live up on top of a nearby mountain. Came down here to take their dog for a hike. They were gracious enough to let me grab some caches along the way. Made the grab quickly. Dropped a TB. TFTC SL

Third cache of the day. We flew to Denver this morning. Picked up our rental car and began driving to Buena Vista. We stopped at Meyer Ranch Park for a short hike to begin the acclimation to the altitude. Nice to have a number of caches to hunt as well. This was a quick find as we were ascending up the hillside.
