You may think you're in the middle of nowhere at this trail head, but the road is better than some paved roads I've been on lately.
It's also kind of noisy.
The Henderson Mine (near Berthoud Falls off Hwy 40) and the Henderson Mill (which you may have passed if you approached via Ute Pass) are connected by the world’s longest conveyor of its kind; a fifteen-mile elevated belt that passes underneath the Continental Divide through an old train tunnel and then above ground to the Mill. This is where the conveyor belt exits the tunnel.

After a bit of searching we found a loose plastic dice and then found the log and container. Fun to watch the conveyor moving ore out of the mountain.
