One of our first and favorite camping areas. Plus our first time hiding a cache.Named after David Moffat, the Moffat Tunnel was booming in the late 1920s, the railroad tunnel is 24 feet high, 18 feet wide, and 6.2 miles long. The apex of the tunnel is at 9,239 ft above sea level. Check out the abandoned houses.

Out caching with the red headed supermodel and escher53. We stopped by the turn out at the side of the road.

The red headed supermodel was the first one to spot this hide. We both signed the log.
