FInal cache in the series leading up to "High Point."

If you follow the High Point Route series to get up there, you'll do about about 1.25 miles of bushwhacking and rock scrambling.  Just a mile?  You'll earn every step. For each subsequent cache in the series, follow a direct bearing from the previous one.

The ascent from here to High Point will be very rocky!

A suggested route, if you're up for a nice bushwhack:

Small camo'd container containing a log and a coin from either the quaint and far-off land of Canada or the Buffalo Bill museum, who even remember?  BYOP!

Thanks for this great series of geocaches. Barasaur, Thomas, and I set out to work through this series as well as attended a mountaintop meet and great. (That's how its done in Colorado)

For future finders of this series:
there is no trail
the terrain is rough
it took us 5 hours to cover two miles
it is all worth it

While I like all aspects of geocaching from time to time, this is my favorite. Just hiking, enjoying the scenery, and then getting a smiley while hanging out with friends.

Memfis Mafia, my son Thomas, Lucy the geodog and I headed out to find the lonely caches at the top. Some of these caches have not been found in 4 years. No trails, cross country all the way. Every step earned both going in and getting back out. Every cache worth the fun. Thanks Trigger for the gorgeous views on this trek.

Triggur you did it. Awesome series. Enjoyed it immensely. Am honored to be signing in second position behind Denali41.

The series I believe was designed to gradually up the stakes for each cache. Each step you take makes you more committed to completing the series, but each cache is a little more difficult and requires a little more work. The genius of this series is that the next cache is only a short distance away.

My suggestion is to allow enough time to get the whole series. I started at 8:30 am and completed the series and was back at my car at 2:30 pm. I bushwacked a lot. I bouldered a lot. I used a different way back than I did on the way up.

The cache names are all appropriate and the hints are awesome. Well done.

Yes, my puppy Orizaba and I earned every mile! The extent of bushwhacking that was necessary to cover the entire course exceeded my anticipations, and in the end I took a more difficult scrambling route to the high point of the day than was actually required. So as I descended from all this effort I had a really satisfied feeling for having completed a tough adventure. Triggur has laid out a good one, a route that I will always recall with some fondness, even when I reflect on its overall rigor. Thanks for this great course. It was nice to sign eight log sheets today as the FTFer. We got back to our vehicle feeling a bit tired, but it was a "good" kind of being tired.

The only disappointment of the afternoon was dipping on #2. I searched for 30-45 minutes and didn't come up with the cache. I probably looked directly at it more than once. Unfortunately, I need to record a DNF on #2.

Thanks for a memorable experience for Zaba and me!
