This cache is a buddy of another cache of mine called "Trail Mix 33" which is fairly close to this cache in this park. This cache is just off the Troutdale Trail. You should get on this trail by the end-of-road loop. I have never seen this road open for cars so you'll probably have to park by the included parking coordinates and hike down the road about 2/3 mile.

When you find the cache, just remove the lid and leave the cache in place.

We decided to take a nice Saturday afternoon hike, sticking to the trail and saving the off-trail caches for spring since the snow was deep in places. This one was close enough and based on the descriptions we figured it wouldn't be a problem. Walked right up to it. Great park - next time we need to get the XC skis, the road out to this cache is perfect for such. TFTC!!

Saw this one get posted awhile back and finally found some time to stretch Shorty's legs. We grabbed the smiley fairly easily, signed the log and kept moving! TFTC
