Dogs  Recommended for kids  Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  Available at all times  Available during winter  Picnic tables nearby  Horses  Short hike (less than 1km)

previous container seems to have been moved or taken, replaced in the same spot with a container with great camp, and increased the difficulty. Everyone has a favorite pet or two, and this is a cache to reflect on those wonderful family friends.  This is a great area to bring your dog with you for a fun, if not wet, walk.  There is a picnic table nearby for a peaceful snack break.

Our family has had many pets that have been important to us.  Fritz, the dog, wandered this area years ago on the ranch, and Colby did until recently with our kids.  Avalanche was the immortal 20 year old cat that spent it's whole life in the area.  Zorro and Abaco were both playful, loving cats that also called this area home.  Calypso and Lila still are with us, and love walking and playing down in this area.

The cache is located along the horse trail next to Bear Creek.  Shallow creek crossing is required!  Be careful in the spring when the creek may be higher.  It is a small size container with log and no pen.  Parking may be best by the entrances to the Bear Creek biking and hiking trail.

A quick find with the family while we were out along this path enjoying a beautiful day. The kids scootered and then walked once we headed off on the dirt trail. Tromped back and forth across the creek three times, found two birds nests, met some people on horseback, pretended they were beavers chomping a tree, hunted for many caches and eventually scootered most of the way back to the car... about 2.5-3 miles later we had a blast, were tired and headed home.

Favorite for making it 3.5 difficulty and providing a nice red herring for Other Hoomans. Thank you for placing this device.
