Out caching with blackfire5th after lunch nearby. We've never seen a cache like this before. Very fun cache. Thanks for the hide! Gets a favorite point!

Good grief, had asked for info on where the log was anyway??? Was wondering if I had to go in the building. Than figured it out. Well accidentally got my answer. Would not want to be the last one to sign this!! Thanks GanderGoose for the imaginative cache.

We don't often see a cache that we haven't seen before, but this was definitely a first.
I recognized the 'device' immediately having given out hundreds of them for free in the last two years. Certainly hadn't ever considered using one for a cache! Nicely done.

I saw this cache come out last night, and wondered if I had a chance for the FTF because it’s a little east of most of the FTF hunters. I have a little monthly FTF streak going and even though I told myself it would be ok to miss August, I’m learning I kinda want to keep it alive. So far the timing hasn’t worked out: at work, hosting visitors, kiddo’s bedtime, things just haven’t lined up. The cache still had Cachly’s little red banner on it when I woke up this morning. Hmmm… got ready and dropped the kiddo off at her last day of preschool. Sniff. Sniff. Checked and the banner was still there. It will only add about 40 minutes to my commute… well… it’s Friday, everyone comes in late on Friday. So I plugged it in to the GPS and off I went. Got to within 5 minutes of the cache and realized I hadn’t brought a Sharpie. Drat. I have a ton of pens with me, something will work. I get to GZ and see a telltale sign. Will I be or won’t I be? I smiled when I saw the cache, love the CO’s style. I “opened” it up and YES!!!, all that was written were 4 little symbols… FTF: LOL it turns out you do need a Sharpie. Thank you for putting one with the cache. I may have been tempted to take the cache with me while I bought one. (No, I wouldn’t really have done it.) Thank you for a great hide and an awesome start to my weekend. Now, off to Boulder! Even about an hour later than I usually get there, I was still the third one at the office. Slackers… Find #2662 and an {*FTF*} at 7:11 am.
