Nice Scenic Cache placed at 9567 feet above sea level.
Parking for even the biggest of rigs.
Small container, well hidden and containing a log and pen and with enough room for smaller trade items and travel bugs.
This cache is placed near a memorial to the dedication of the "New Improved Highway" which was completed in 1919. The memorial itself was placed in 1939. A little exploring will show at least three different abandoned roads through the area. This is also the trailhead to the famous "Rabbit Ears" so named by early trappers because of its appearance.
Please replace cache in original condition to keep the fun going for the next seeker.

After returning our granddaughter to her mom at the Saratoga turnoff, we decided to do a little sightseeing/geocaching on the way home.
This was the last one of the day as we had to get home and feed the boys!
Mrs. rockymtn8iv hung out with rockymtn8iv's ride while I made the trek to GZ.
Still a few snowbanks but nothing I couldn't navigate around.
The cache was intact and in good shape.

We left Steamboat Springs this morning and headed out to find five nearby caches in two different counties.
We entered the forest and found the cache after a very short search. All is in good shape here. TFTC
